Its so unbelievably sick, the artwork and packaging are incredible. happened to get the red/grey/orange set which is the one I was hoping for (seller didnt specify and it wasnt a big enough deal to ask and slow down the buying process). 1st pressing with only 500 copies printed from what I've gathered

When this is good, it's really fucking good, but there are more than a few parts that I'm luke warm towards so far.

i mean opinions but its not like the genre is packed albums above a 4.5/5

"eh this is in my top five favorite albums ever but in terms of prog metal theres plenty of 'better' releases"

also how does this statement make sense? unless you are talking objectively which really is strange in this context

"this is more acclaimed for the post metal bits anyhow"

more often then not, the best prog is not full on prog

The second disc is certainly better, but it's got some really boring moments.

Like the Siderian/Rhyacian combo is one hell of a way to start it off

I still think this is an overall good album, but I think it overextends its reach and it's sure as hell ambitious, but sometimes feels too calculated to me.
