They redeem themselves in Come Clarity and then resume the downward spiral promptly afterwards.

It's the best fully-mainstream 'mallcore' sort of album they've ever pulled off for better or for worse. Definitely the best vocal performance Anders ever delivered, though I wouldn't necessarily say his cleans got any better.
