i cant believe he made a far cleaner, more blackgaze/dreamy post-rock oriented album and its still like possibly as good as melancholie which stylistically was more unique/kvlt inducing



only a songwriter this good could 'sell out' (using this term quite loosely) and make it this freaking good, its really freakin good guys

it's been 8 years, I'm sure the lad's gone though some changes during this time. as long as the artist makes something honest it'll shine through. also, I think it's not fair to musicians to expect them to rehash the same ol' for an entire career.
