Sorry for the big fat lie above. My Ipod count for this album is 63, not 112. I was at school when I wrote that and I wasn't near my computer. I've listened to Ghost Reveries 112 times over the course of 2 years. Very, very sorry. Still 63 times is a scary number.

damn, I have no clue how many times I listened to Watershed, probably around the same amount because I burnt a copy of it for work. I guessing like 50ish, amazing cd, third fav to only BWP and SL

Wow, 68 is a big number. I've listened to my favorite album about... 20ish something times since I got it.

Everything just clicks on this album. I'm almost tempted to say this is my favourite Opeth album to date.

It is a bold move and I will have to meet with my panel of judges to determine this.

I had trouble getting into Opeth (mentioned it on one of the Blackwater Park reviews) forever and THIS is the album that did it for me. After I heard this and enjoyed it, some of the other albums started making more sense to me I guess you could say, but this is probably my favorite so far (out of this, Blackwater Park, Deliverance, and Orchid). Suggestions where I should go next?

Damnation is an album dedicated to Opeth's softer side (acoustic and clean guitar), Still Life is like Blackwater Park, just not quite as refined and My Arms, Your Hearse is, I think anyways, one of their heaviest albums to date. Morningrise is the weakest (but still awesome) and some of the ideas are strung together really loosely. Check them ALL out.

Indeed. Especially have another go on Blackwater Park again, its a grower for most.

I do enjoy Blackwater Park now but still not as much as this. How about Ghost Reveries? I like quite a few songs off of that? Maybe that or Still Life...
