London, ON is a pretty sick place.

The Goddess track have grown on me a lot lately and I'm loving Goddess Gagged.

These 44 pages seem void and empty without my decision of the album. I finally sat down and listened to this in recent times. Pretty good album, I give it a solid 3.5. Might give it a 4 but don't want to push it yet.

Well done.

Keeps growing on me with each listen, top album and a massive improvement over Kezia (which I found too inconsistent and threw me off at times). Rushing quickly into my list of "say hello on next europe tour".

Yeah, I really want to see them live now.

Kezia was overrated but I did think it was good. This is so much better though, in almost every respect.

This hit me very hard the first couple time I listened to this. Easily a 5.

I considered a 5 but not only have I not listened to this enough (only twice all the way through) but an album has to be darn near flawless to warrant that rating.

I definitely don't see this as a 5.

kezia wasn't flawless, but it was safe enough for a lot of people (including myself) to give it a 5

this is just much better, because its flaws aren't inherent

Wait bro, I'm a lil confuzzled. You say you gave Kezia a 5, but this is better (4.5)?This Message Edited On 02.03.08

Ratings are pretty meaningless. I gave Kezia a 5, but Kezia is a 4. It depends on how you're rating it and why you're rating it.

I rate the individual album, not the discography. It's important not to compare. That's why it's an album rating, not a band rating or something.

That's the same way I do it. To be more specific, one of the things I base an album rating on is how well it executes what its intended goal is, be it creating a certain atmosphere, being catchy, technical, or just to rock out. Fortress is darn good for what it is - massively technical yet incredibly catchy and accessible metal with a good deal of clean vocals. Hence, 4.5.This Message Edited On 02.03.08
