Only Twin is by far the biggest offender here, but I've never thought these guys were particularly poetic, yet I was more forgiving in my youth. Quite a few saccharine moments scattered throughout their discog
idk what % of the music I listen to that is either incomprehensible harsh vox, or in a language I have no understanding of, but it's certainly a common enough situation for me to appreciate the benefits, lol
(and that's ignoring the rather prominent selection of lyricists who's content is abstract enough that I have to consciously tune-in to even attempt deciphering them - i.e. a choice rather than an obligation)
