good reminder for me to start jamming their first few records w/ the warmer weather (and "beer commericials")

the narrative of a Mediterranean getaway is nothing but good vibes.

Will do especially since mostly stuff you dig I usually end up liking too. This is probably their best album though right? Least general consensus wise

I haven't heard your album, Wack. I'll definitely give it a go. What happened with you and New Vegas?

I quit, they weren't willing to experiment at all, they eventually parted ways with a few members. Then they got my good friend of mine to do vocals for them on a separate project called Hyena(sludgecore), which I thought was cool but it didn't work out. The guitar player(main writer) is a bit of a trend hopper, he does some sort of emo/hardcore stuff with some new dudes, I don't like it much though.

Here's Hyena: https://hyenabandpa.bandcamp.com/

So I took my family on vacation last week to the Oregon coast and drove through the night to make the long drive a bit easier on the boys...at 5:45AM I'm hitting the coast as the sun rises listening to Dr. L'Ling and I feel like I'm in some sort of suspended animation or that I can drive straight across the ocean or maybe I'll just fall off the edge of the world or something

totally surreal and awesome

that sounds fantastic. for me, this would be the perfect sunny day in winter album. driving through mountains with snow everywhere while the sun is beating down would be perfect conditions for listening to this.

They're playing shows with This Will Destroy You... god, I would LOVE to see that. There's only like 5 dates though, and they're all on the west coast. Dammit.
