I found PT pretty easy to get into. Tool on the other hand took time.

Yeah there's a lot of older PT love on sput (queue for JT), and it's really good with the psychedelic, pop and hard rock elements, but I've enjoyed the latter era slightly more. But it's great to have all these eras for different moods.

Yeah, PT have 3 eras. The first 4 albums are psychedelic, the next 2 alt/pop rock, and then the last 4 metal/hard rock.

"His strengths definitely lie in writing and instrumentation, not vocals."
Agreed, Signify is my favorite PT album because of this, just listen to Intermediate Jesus.

That keeps the music interesting, will be interesting to see what direction they take when/if they get back in the next couple of years. SW's too busy enjoying his solo work currently

Signify is possibly PTs second weakest album for me.

Relieve the pressure, somehow!

SW was really horny when he wrote that song. That song on the DVD is 5 times better, so intense.
Listening to Voyage 34, I'm in lala land

Yeah probably. Sweet song.

Anesthetize is really really sick, my ashes and sentimental are both sweet and melancholic tracks and way out of here has a great instrumental work

Normal should have been used instead of Sentimental
