“This doesn't have float on does it? Does it???”
No. It’s somehow even worse than that album.

This is better than 'Good News', about half of that album is a little irritating
Only a few songs on this one fall equally flat

My rating for this is a 4 out of 5 believe it or not.
'Parting of the Sensory' and 'Spitting Venom' are 5 star epic-length toons and really prop this up, 15 minutes of 5 out of 5 stuff straight away. Without those we'd be looking at a 3.5.
The pop songs do their job - 'Dashboard', 'Missed the Boat' and 'Little Motel' are more pop than I thought MM would ever go but they are actually highlights, and make sure this wouldn't drop below a 3.5.
'Steam Engenius', 'We've Got Everything' and (if I'm in a bad mood) 'Fire it Up' can all be annoying. I do like 'Education' though, which most people dislike. The last two songs are also a bit skippable.

Agreed with all of your points.
And yes Sandy, a 3 is an appropriate rating for this if you think it's good. That's technically what 3 means after all

I really love this album. There's some underrated shit on here. It's dark, funny, and sad at times (think ''Little Motel'') that song is a real drag. In a good way. And yeah, Parting of the Sensory is pretty funny as well especially when he starts getting angry towards the middle ''Any shithead who had ever walked, could take the ship and do much finer job'' ''WHO THE HELL MADE YOU THE BOSS? IF YOU SAY WHAT TO DO I KNOW WHAT NOT TO STOP'' Lololol.

Also the opener is hilarious in Isaac's delivery. He's a madman on the album. ''GIVE ME FORCED HEALTH TIL' I WISH DEATH ON MYSELF!'' LOL

"Spitting Venom," "Parting of the Sensory," "Missed the Boat," and "March Into the Sea" are some of MM's very best songs
