I disagree hard because not everything is able to be streamed, and the audio quality is much higher on cd than digital. Plus you can rip to iTunes and they just look nice as decoration on shelves.

the audio quality can be the same on both mediums, and it'll always be much more portable in digital than on cd
i definitely like cds aesthetically, and i like the content they come with, but i have to admit that they would take too much space and use too much plastic. like, i can't imagine having all my music collection on cds, it would be crazy

Basically this. And even if I ever wanted to collect albums for aesthetic purposes, vynil would be the way to go for me.

I've heard hundreds of cds across many genres and the audio quality is soooooo much better than digital, especially when it comes to bass being present

Plus, like I said, not everything can be streamed so getting them and putting them on a library like iTunes is great
