This is definitely not as innovative as TKOL, but I have similar levels of affection for both. This is harder to defend, but fuck it, I love this record

uhhhhhh where are the massive amounts of string and choral arrangements in old radiohead? those are definitely way more prominent on this album and therefore they differentiate it from their other shit imo.

Who said they needed to go more electronic after TKOL? This is a great direction.

Burn The Witch just grew on me out of nowhere. i always loved the back half of this (and Daydreaming) but wow the first half aged really well.

Didn't really think much of that song, but it's been awhile since I jammed

I was never aware this album was a collection of rerecorded older material or whatever. Guess that makes it easier for me to appreciate it for the amazing record it is.

Most of these songs weren't even recorded in the first place, Radiohead have just been playing a bunch of them live for a long time

you're calling this record electronic? or am i misreading - either way this was personally a welcome album for me after TKOL which i didn't really "fuck wit" save for a couple of tracks

This is one of those albums where maybe only two or three tracks are real gems for me but it still hits like a 4

Maybe it's the lengths and paces of the songs, there aren't any glorified B-sides and the songwriting is fully fleshed out

I too think some of these are stand out tracks, but there are quite a few weak links to me. It isn't a very likable album to me, it should have been short and sweet and with great pacing like TKOL.
