nude might be the most beautiful radiohead song, a far cry from milequetoast shit like the bends tbh

80% of this album is radiohead being relatively milquetoast if you can appreciate fishes and jigsaw you already answered your question

I've always held Kid A and Amnesiac in the same regard probably due to my deep love for select Amnesiac tracks in a way that rivals any of my Kid A favs but after revisiting both over the last couple weeks for the first time in (?) amount of years I think I'm finally ready to admit that Kid A is better than Amnesiac.

For me im realizing there are moments that pull me out of the album with Amnesiac but there are none that do that on Kid A. As individual songs there is a lot to come back to on both but I prefer the overall album experience of Kid A. I think the sequencing, conceptualization, and atmosphere is stronger and more organic. Amnesiac works together extremely well for a collection of b-sides but at the end of the day there are still moments where you can kinda tell it's a collection of b-sides.

buy a dog farm and we can all have a banquet

p much agreed with Kid A working much more smoothly as an album experience whereas Amnesiac has its jank patches, but hot damn most days I'd rather revisit Knives Out or Pyramid Song over any standalone Kid A cut

Best standalone track off Kid A is Idioteque by a mile, but the whole things great if you listen start to finish
