same meat. actually i learned most of my drum techniques from rock band as gay as it sounds. it helped a lot with speed, esp

songs like panic attack and visions (which i gold stared :] )

protest is also reeeally fun on drums. i can go through the entire fortress album and have my cardio done for the week

never got good at blasts of any sort, could only ever get 3 stars on visions but panic attack was my bitch

getting good at most types of blasts is really nothing more than getting your single stroke roll really fast and consistent

but what do i know i never practice ¯_(ツ)_/¯

playing them fast wasn't my problem, it was playing them on time in conjunction with the bass pedal having to be hit every second hit. i'd drop my rhythm for a second and fail almost instantly because of the wall of notes that a blast beat makes in that game

yeah i know watchu mean.

and then there's the black metal style of blast beats which are hyper-easy

i would always fail prequel on rock band during the blasts cause of calibration. if it's not spot on then you'd never get past blast beats

farewell mona lisa is near fucking impossible tho. not even blasts really but the syncopation is ridiculous

calibration might be why i failed those kinds of blasts but i don't really like blaming my tv for me fucking up you know

yeah first part of farewell is a bitch, the other OP tracks they put out were a lot easier and more fun to play tho

same, would've taken some of their older stuff over tracks from op any day but widower and gold teeth have sweet drumming so it's okay
