'My god Demon that sounds like you copy-pasted it directly from the Google Play Store/Apple Store. Yuck! So very plausible.'

This is the age we live in unfortunately... if this release is considered the pinnacle of modern art then what chance do we have? Standards are dropping.

I had a sound off written but this site is dicks and it got deleted when I hit submit.

The album isn't as suffocating as death mask but it still goes alright.

Cycling new Nile and BI is really relaxing.

Can you delete sound-offs completely? - the potential permanence has me concerned, so I never leave 'em.

I had that hope, with the single I've listened, that it'd somehow return to the more original take on Pervertor instead of the suffocating doom thing from death mask, that also do love, but miss that that unique filthy entrancing take ;)

There some filthy parts but there's an accoustic song and they really tightened up the songwriting

Also I think the production is really nice even if the vocals are bit too distorted at times

Yeah that reverb and distortion on vocals are a band's signature fs...this always works better with vol on max...oh yeah getting that robotizing distortion now lol m/

I struggled to find the time to jam this 4 times and CoL 10+

No way am I bothering with funeral doom right now, that shit is just too damn long for my current schedule.

That's some important self limitations acknowledge fs...better that than to go there with overlooking attitude. Luckily I have the time for multiple listens of that.

I don't mind the "funeral" word, but for what its worth is a deathdoom piece...I'm no Esoteric expert tho...just think that album is amazingly well done...not to say "perfectly".

If I ever plunge into the world of doom I'll be sure to check how long the releases in question are first, I understand that some are in the 60-80 minute range, which should be doable.

My take is always on DeathDoom...even if its funeral it just can't be straight funeral as lets say...Bell Witch...still not for me. Last year Un's Sentiment did it for me...and this year the Esoteric one, the way the doom and the atmosphere led to the death riffs and drumming is just m/m/m/...not to mention a proggy nature of the songs...read somewhere almost as a transgressive floydish sound...baaaah...bloody aoty in the Death genre no doubts.
