honestly i listened to this shit so much in freshman and sophmore year that the absurd songwriting doesn't even phase me just cause i'm used to it. i totally understand what people mean when they complain about the transitions though, and it's mainly those two songs

exactly how i feel. i have practically every second of this album memorized, there was a point where i listened to nothing but btbam for a month so yeah. but for me the transitions didn't bother me back them but a few irk me now hence bumping this down from a 5

oh yeah i can air drum every second of this haha, and *actually* drum like half of it. this really is a great album for drummers looking to get used to weird time signatures and constant changes within songs. the reason i bumped this down is yeah, i realized some of the songwriting is sloppy, and also i just wore it out. barely want to jam this anymore although when i do it still rules

dam dude are you my long lost brother? lol i know the first four tracks on drums and prequel and can kinda half ass my way through white walls. drumming to any btbam is a nice way to work up a sweat

foam born B pretty much single handedly taught me how to do a right handed blastbeat haha, cant go much faster than that one though :X

there's some crazy left handed paradiddle diddle shit he does in foam born b, it's insane. weird how metal can teach you rudiments.. blake is the man

i was never disciplined enough to practice rudiments or techniques with a metronome for long periods of time. pretty

much all my skill was learned through just learning metal songs and progressively learning harder stuff lol. metallica ->

maiden -> opeth -> dream theater -> PTH -> btbam haha
