I don't mind Spiritbox from time to time but I've never understood the hype and acclaim tbh. I thought their debut was a snoozer.

Kind of, it's a slow burn. And the hype is probably based on their pop characteristics only, but as opposed to certain other bands elevated for similar reasons, Spiritbox blends pop and metal with skill and taste.

And Hawks, bro, there is no saying that Spiritbox is "the most generic djentcore imaginable" when bands like Unprocessed exist. I fucking hate djent as a whole, even more than death metal, and the fact Spiritbox manage to pull it off for me speaks volumes about their prowess.
Seriously, go listen to the last Unprocessed and tell me with all honesty you still think Spiritbox is the bottom of the barrel.

Possibly. I admit just being annoyed that I wasted 20 minutes of my life on something that has no merits to me (i.e. the first half of Angel) and that made me lose any kind of interest in the band. I'm sure most musicians have at least one good song to their name even if I don't like them.
