I think it speaks volumes of this band that ppl are jizzing to a "we are the void" level album, acting all relieved that In Flames can still put out stuff that's even remotely decent, while for DT that album was their worst

Lol agreed. Also they should have brought DT on their upcoming EU tour instead of either AE or Soilwork (or maybe just all 4 of them?). Then I'd definitely go 100%

Oh well, at least they chose a decent crowd of nominally melodeath bands rather than alt metal shit like sonic syndicate that would fit their modern sound much better. They really seem to be making an effort to be perceived as melodeath again, wonder why that is. Made enough money off the alt metal/metalcore already or something?

They're probably trying to redeem themselves 20 years later but 20 years is a little too late

They need 7 shows in Germany like every damn EU tour as usual, of course other countries are gonna suffer from it smh

I'd definitely take modern DT over modern AE any day.

Hmm they headlined Wacken one time I'm pretty sure so maybe you're right. I figured they were equally big in UK/France at least but maybe not. Germany love Swedish bands anyway, Sabaton is another example of that

Ironically Iridium is one the best tracks DT has made. We are the void is their worst work though. Still a solid album though, at least. Just nothing remarkable.

To their credit, they did say one of the best, not the best.
