It will probably be the closest thing to seeing TDEP live as well so yeah, as soon as I can, I will.

Yeah there was a pileup with guys jumping over each other when the screamer pointed the mic towards the crowd I kid you not. It was a small crowd too

I have only been to one metal concert so is it a good metal concert to go to?

Yeah you should be fine. If you dont want to get hurt just keep your distance from the center. People tend to watch out for each other. Callous daoboys was my second metal concert

Ok. Never really been in a mosh pit so I am not really sure if it is my kind of thing, I guess. As soon as they play near me, I'll try to get a ticket. Seeing Star Baby live seems like an experience.

I caught them just before this album released, but they are absolutely insane live and I highly suggest it (especially if they play new stuff). Like Purp said, definitely stay away from the mosh if you aren't up for it, because people get crazy and the vocalist and guitarist love to drop kick from the stage

Yeah, If I were to try out a moshpit, I'd like it to be somewhere less dropkicky. But yeah, I love their new album especially, so hearing their new stuff live would be great even if I were to get in the pit.

Been to plenty of metal/hardcore/whateverthefuck shows, it’s not any more intense than any other band.
I got my shit rocked once at a Knocked Loose show before they blew tf up and needed some stitches, but that’s once in probably like 300 shows I’ve been to. Just keep your head on your shoulders and stick to the side or back if you don’t wanna get bruised up.

if you see hardcore dancers in the pit, stay the fuck away, not worth it. aka dudes flailing their arms around and purposely trying to hit people. shit is dumb, toxic and makes you look like a fucking idiot if you do it. best to just avoid any pits that have them in it
been to 100s of metal/hardcore/punk shows, if you do mosh and get knocked over, you will be picked back up. these shows are smaller than you think, most people are looking out. but yeah stick to side or back if it seems too rough, you'll have a good view regardless of where you park. most damage comes from crowdsurfers anyways so just keep an eye out for those, the sides/back wont have that issue
saw daoboys w/ rolo tomassi last year and it wasn't too crazy at all. didn't have any dropkicking there, hopefully thats not a trend for them.

moshing with people flailing their arms as fast as they're physically possible is fucking dumb
i have a great time just casually pushing people who clearly want to be pushed.
daoboys was wild in terms of energy when i saw them last but there were like 10 of us in the pit lol, pretty tame in terms of recklessness

very hyped to see them in a few days
an interesting thing I noticed looking at the album credits just now: the drummer, keyboard player, and one of the guitarists that are credited on this album have since been replaced. this album is only six months old.
granted this band has like eight members and I have no idea who the main songwriters were/are, but i do find that slightly alarming in terms of the outlook for the next album

Had no idea that happened, bummer. I'd hope the core dynamic is still maintained, but who knows how their process works.

based on their social media / who seems to be featured most on stage, their music videos, interviews / who has been in the band the longest... i'd guess the core of the band is carson (vocalist), maddie (guitarist), amber (violinist), and jackie (bassist/secondary vocals) and as long as they're there they'll be fine
seems like the other spots have been a bit of a revolving door since the band's inception.
