I listened to HIFN when it first dropped, was the first Charli album I listened to. It just never really clicked with me for some reason, even returning to it after falling in love with Brat, I still feel the same way. There's some great songs on it, but the overall package just feels a little lacklustre to me.
This opens up really well, but the 2nd half isn't super exciting. Production is nice though! Probably on par with HIFN for me at the moment, need more spins.

I love Crash, it just lacks a flashier hook that her works usually have, which does kinda cause it to peter out over the length of the project. What you're left with is still a collection of really awesome pop songs, but there's not much that's specifically Charli about them
I hopped on the Charli bandwagon in a big way around Number 1 Angel, and it was actually because "ILY2" was listed on the staff's quarterly playlist lol

Feeling a solid 3/5 for this at the moment, might grow on me over time. Fun enough listen though! Not a fan of Baby or Yuck though, those are the lowest points for me. Bookends are bangers!

I'm fluctuating with this one, listened to it again this morning and songs I originally liked I've seemingly bounced off of (New Shapes). And songs that never really did anything, have suddenly entered my radar (Move Me). Weird album, mixed feelings overall. Feels a bit flat in places despite knowing a lot of this is catchy with some really nice production. Don't know "how I'm feeling now" with this one.

Lightning is growing on me, wasn't a fan originally but damn that beat is so bouncy and fun. Reminds me of the Sonic CD soundtrack or some shit lol
Definitely prefer this over HIFN
