Its literally rapping with gutturals lol. Vocalist has said he's heavily inspired by hip-hop. One of the best things about this band tbh

most of the unique leader/artisan era stuff feels like a tech demo than these guys. there's a self-aware absurdity to archspire but there are many great riffz and songs*. modern tech bands wish they could write a song as good as t/t here
