I have artificially wiped all my childhood memories of this band, ready for an unbiased delve into their discog. Let’s call it a new perspective.
This was a pretty strong start, ‘Babe I’m Gonna Leave You’ and ‘Dazed and Confused’ are awesome. Black Mountain is cool. I’ve probably gone soft in my old age, because these guys sound somewhat harder than I remember, at least sporadically.

That'd be wild to hear them fresh again. I remember my pops showing me Dazed and Confused when I was a youngin and thinking it was the coolest thing I've ever heard.
I've become so saturated with their sound that it's become nearly basic and standard... while still appreciating that it's some of the best rock music ever made. A strange feeling.
