Yeah a marketable image is pretty much the single most important part of the pop industry lmao. Like, obviously not all of them, but a lot of pop stars have little to no creative input and are completely interchangeable besides that image. Unless they have a very distinct voice (which they rarely do) or actually produce their own music (also rare) their career almost singularly hinges on identity and marketability. Obviously they are gonna be the focus of the cover. 9 times out of 10
