Weird choice as a single too. The first minute sounds like it should be the intro to the entire record

Didn't like it. In fact these guys' new stuff just doesn't do it for me much at all.

Yeah I'm kinda in the same boat Jay. I think I've just grown off them a bit. Like some of the older stuff fine, but this and the new stuff is really boring to me now.

I dig it. Not blown away but I enjoyed it. Almost could be a He Is Legend song in some parts.

Meridional and Wrongdoers their best but this album is still great. I remember people criticizing the guitar work and flat songwriting but listening to it again I don't see it. The opening track alone has a sick riff.

Their new song came up on my discover weekly. Apparently I had heard very little to nothing of Norma Jean before, and listening to this album I'm really wondering HOW I had gone the last 10 years without noticing this band. They're at the same level as Dillinger and ETID for writing and production quality but obviously have their own unique sound.

It could be the slight amount of post-hardcore that may have kept me away before but damn are they good still. The guitarists know how to add subtlety in the right ways while preserving the band's core sound.

Also on discovery weekly, the recent week was the best I have ever heard on spotify. Either I got lucky or they changed the algorithm but it was so good I liked like almost half the songs on it.

Their new single Spearmint is pretty awesome. They're 2/2 on singles. Album is looking promising

Wasn't feeling the first single at all. "Spearmint Revolt" brings the hype back full force. Don't want to spoil it, but you'll hear.
