Yes, that comment is retarded.......one of my favorite "extreme metal" albums but could never manage the depth of the thrash classics

Personally, I prefer this to Megadeth or Sodom anyday, but that's just me. Their debut was slightly better than this though. It had more charm!

Come now boy, this is pre-djent progressive math metal.

You know you're in with the Sputnik crowd when Emim repeats your post just cause he agrees with you.

Rust in Peace is great, but SikTh just hit the spot for me more than Davey ever could.

They're not all that similar musically anyway. Love both the albums to death

Course not. They're polar opposite ends of the metal spectrum, really/

Yeah, they're completely different. Didn't really say that well in the last comment. Speaking of the album, I can't decide whether I like this or the trees better

It's Trees for me personally, just because it has that level of youthful exuberance and charm that this doesn't quite have. It's also a bit more eclectic and experimental, which I love.

That said, Death of a Dead Day is better for headbanging. This release is much more metal.

I like Trees better just because it's wackier

I would even dare saying this is more monotonous and has less of that "dark atmosphere" (Tupelo, Why Can't We All Dream?, When Will The Forest Speak?)
And I liked the production on Trees more.

I can agree with that, but this still rules.

Agreed with Wolfhorde.

Oi Wolfhorde bro. My friend was browsing Sputnik and stole your avatar. Should I slay her?

She stole Wolfhorde's penis? Yikes.

Have you ever heard Ninjaspy? They have pretty similar vocals.

I doubt any other band has increased in quality so much after 2 LPs and only 4 short years as Sikth did. If they kept going they mighta taken a more progressive route (longer albums with more collective ideas, not necessarily longer songs, to me they kinda hinted at it on this album)
