The jazzy cuts on the new one are so fuckin good. The bookends are probably my favorites, Walkin still slaps, also Mental, Zatoichi

"I tend to be a bit lukewarm on "jazz" oriented beat stuff in recent hip hop"
When I saw the list of producers on the album I kinda expected the production to be a little more eclectic and wilder.

I’m not a big hip hop head at all but I thought Taboo ruled, this was very underwhelming and the new one feels way more exciting again

I've teared up to Walkin 3 times today. That energy carries me all the way to T-Pain haha - what a vibe

This is not psychedelic. It has no business being outside of rap/hip-hop. Attempts to span multiple genre of music are attempts to broaden an artist's base...like Beyonce or Kanye West playing Coachella. These "artists" have no affinity for psychedelia or alternative music.
