didn't listen to it, but their first two were both vastly more charismatic than either of this bands vapid outputs. Would probably take United Crushers over either of these bobbing turdlettes too. So even if their newest is a miss thats 3:0 for polica

anyways, all the new one would need is a single, sole, lone, solitary, solo molecule of charisma to outclass this BOGO shoe rack aspartame cola The XX wannabe

lmao I can't recover from this.

Dude Pots, I love Polica, don't get me wrong, first 2 were great, a bit heavy on autotune but that was their thing I guess, their collabo with Stargazer was even better (reviewed that myself) but seriously the new album is such a wreckage.

Actually I don't even know why are we comparing this to Polica ?¿¿?. The XX is a better comparison tbh (and still I prefer these guys by a mile though).

>they are good live but i've never actually listened to one of their albums

they had some nice eps/singles which i dont think ever made it onto any albums and those probably work more to the strength of their style

it's rabids fault he brought polica into this

but yeah i dunno I kinda lost interest gradually and just had no desire to peep the last one, looks like I'll keep it that way

"The XX is a better comparison tbh (and still I prefer these guys by a mile though)."

I mean I'm not actively looking to listen to The XX on any given day ever all im sayin' is they done did this exact 2.7/5 indie dream ambient pop thing first and Two Peeps needs to step out of that less-than-daunting shadow if they want to pique my interest personally

Listening to "I'm Tied to You" and then a song like "A Taste" you can see they are trying different things, I mean they only have 2 albums so far so who knows, maybe they strike that chord of yours in the future, Potsy.

I compared it to poliça because it has a similar vibe, tbh... Is that considered a hot take nowadays?
