Drink Away the Pain is one of the absolute best songs to come out of that entire East Coast mid-90s scene, the themes and elements laid back against those jazz beats and imagery of days gone by, personal turmoil trying to self-medicate with the most readily available drug in the world, ouch man that shit goes deep into me man, coming from an alcoholic family and struggling with it myself. My brother used to play this one all the time, and now I know why.

That was my least favorite song but you're making me see it in a whole new, favorable light. Thanks, bud.

Can't believe my elder bros let me listen to songs like Survival of the Fittest when I was a mere 6-7 year old. I pretty much grew up on 90s hip hop.

People use "bud" as a term of endearment? I only ever use it to patronize because it's just that bad

that's because you live in Vancouver and everyone thinks they're sick there cause they spend $30 on a gram and drink coffee through a metal straw. go to northern Ontario and the people are so stupid that they're only capable of using bud as a sincere term of endearment because they don't know what irony is

Nobody above the age of 11 spends more than 15 dollars on a gram of weed colton

5 to 10 a gram is standard if you buy in non gov shops, less if you go full black market and have good hookups. This is BC not Croatia.
