Not feeling this one much overall. Definitely has some magic (Other Worlds has great atmosphere, Betrayer also kinda slays, speed metal elements are cool) just wish it was executed better. Might be the vocals or something. Beyond Oblivion has one of the dryest choruses I've ever heard, shame because it builds up with a lot of punch then... "A dead hook"

Ascendancy, this and Shogun are all awesome. In Waves is pretty good too but not as polished as their more recent output.
They are a pretty consistent band really, despite a couple of weak albums.
Even The Crusade isn't that bad...

I used to like Shogun most, but right now I am completely on the side of Ascendancy, In Waves, this and In The Court of the Dragon ... and Shogun of course. It's just what they do best.

Still a pretty nice record, Heart from Your Hate is such a metalcore banger. Would work as a pop/EDM song I think.
