I haven't listened to this yet, and as someone who enjoys TDAG, but doesn't get a major nostalgia boner over it, I see this coming out to a 3.0-3.5 just like that, but we shall see.

Did you expect anything else in a Brand New album thread after an 8 year wait on Sputnik? I actually think people are being less circle-jerky about this than they were when the last 2 BN records dropped here in '09 and '06, respectively.

same tbh
just so many licks and grooves and awesome melodies. i know it's good when the album just flows perfectly and i'm not even that hype yet cos i'm still getting into all the songs. once you kinda know what to expect in each song that's when it hits you hardest
was the same thing with both TDAG and Daisy
