Limelight is a god damn masterpiece. One of the best songs they have written, dare I say the best?

gun to my head, I don't know if I could pick my favorite. Rapture, Benediction, Palm Dreams, and Skyscraper are all varying degrees of perfect, and thats just on this record.

Imo the three best songs on each album would have to be:

Dead Horse - Honest Sleep, History Reshits Itself, Broken Records

Parting the Sea - ~, Method Act, Home Away From Here

Is Survived By - Harbor, Steps, title track

Stage Four - New Halloween, Benediction, Palm Dreams

cool, mine would be:

Dead Horse - Honest Sleep (tho I prefer the demo), History Reshits Itself, Always Running

Parting the Sea - The Great Repetition, Method Act, Condolences (sue me)

Is Survived By - Harbor, Non Fiction, Just Exist

Stage Four - New Halloween, Flowers and You, Skyscraper

tho a lot of this keeps changing so

I have no idea why Condolences is such a controversial song. Its an emotional rollercoaster, but most people seem to just hate it

Method Act always gets to me man I don’t think I’ve ever related to a song more on a visceral level.

This album has also reduced me to tears on more than one occasion.

yeah I don't get that hate either, I especially enjoy it's placement on the record, and I would kill to hear it live, the version from the 10th anniversary album sounds amazing

“This album has also reduced me to tears on more than one occasion.“

It gets me every time. This shit is just too relatable.

Flowers and You is such an amazing opener, I was floored when I first hear it. This album is on another level

Jeremy's lyrics just put it on another level imo. Instrumentally I don't think its that much better than any of their other records.

Favorite songs I’ve heard so far are Flowers and You, New Halloween, Limelight and Deflector. Of course I haven’t heard most of their stuff yet.

So I listened to the split and To the Beat... both pretty fucking awesome.
