To be fair, I think most of the Acts are objectively better than Migrant, but that's the one TDH album I go back to most frequently

I'm jamming Act IV for the first time now and so far it's definitely better than this.

I think at face value Act IV seems better... but I have come back to V more than IV and IV was my fav

I think I prefer this to IV by a slim margin.

Bumped this to a 5. This series of albums and this band in general just really grew on me over the past year.

Jamming Act IV now and the magic has kind of diminished from it, I think Act V stole it

I jammed all of the acts in order while reading along to the lyrics and the story's interpretation, and I have to say all of these albums have an added depth now because of it. I recommend anyone who has even a passing interest in the Act albums should try this, at least with the first two, and you'll probably like the albums even more. Might have to bump my rating up for this now.

actual rank

Gloria

The Fire (Remains)

The Most Cursed of Hands (would be higher but Who am I is mehhh)

The Haves Have Naught

The Moon/Awake

The March (would be #2 if the bridge went on longer)

A Beginning

The Revival

Light

Mr Usher

The Flame (Is Gone)

Regress

Blood

Cascade

Melpomene

But all of these are good, except Melpomene, which is fine on its own but feels very out of place.

I think Mr Usher is actually really solid, I think a different vocalist could have been a nice change of pace, but they pull it off.
