This is definitely the best thrash album I've heard in a long time. The last two songs are mind-blowing.

The guitar tones here are really fantastic in general. But I feel like they're slightly different in those last two tracks than even the rest of the album, especially the acoustic melodies.
They're so...pretty. Such a contrast to how gritty and sharp the riffs sound.

I just wonder how many 5's actually listened to this... Or if they actually did like it and gave it a 5 just cuz of the average because personally I liked this but I'd only give this a 3-3.5 but I'm not going to rate it. It's accessible thrash metal but a 4.6?

I showed someone Recharging the Void and they insisted the soft part was a complete ripoff of Pink Floyd's "On the Turning Away."
How close are these songs really?

Music never existed before this album.

"Listen to 2:28 of Pillars of Sand" -- GhandhiLion
And what is 2:28 of Pillars of Sand supposed to be a ripoff of?
|

i like how this guy accused the whole album for being a rip off of bunch of other albums and plagiarism and then pointed only one moment of 70+ min album.
The cluelessness is strong.

On the Pink Floyd reference: the first sung line "Illuminate what remains" in the clean part of Recharging The Void is similar to the first line of "On the Turning away". Otherwise: no similarities whatsoever.

Collapse is so damn beautiful and perfect. I don't even care that the vocals barely uses any melody, it still works so well

Seen this laughable comment on metalstorms' section for TR
"Don't really like any song much with the exception of Pillars of Sand. But what I can surely say is that Terminal Redux is a sound engineering/recording/mixing/whatever failure. Horrible flat sound, muffled middle, no bass... Definitely one of the things preventing from getting into the album faster. "
What an asshat
