I honestly still need to listen to this. I wasn't really into the self-titled when it came out, but my perspectives on music and the issues she tackles have changed a lot in three years, so I think my memories might be tainted by my perspective at the time. If I enjoyed the newest Rihanna album as much as I did, I can't imagine I won't enjoy this at least somewhat.

Called Beyonce a thief, said that the melodramatic "cheated on" angle of this album is damaging to black feminism, some tangent of how Beyonce was saying she was "the queen" and is now looking out for black people, and then some tangent of how Azelia was doing the african tribal shit first and Beyonce was just like "jesus says".
