I like Noctus. He claims all the popular bm releases are boring, then raves over albums that go nowhere.

I am glad someone gives cred points to artists who record their records in Scandinavian outhouses.

I can't even believe how good Deafheaven was. I've never seen a crazier crowd in my life. During Sunbather and Dream House members of Envy and Tribulation were jumping off stage and crowd surfing. Amazing show and gives me more appreciation for this album

I'm seeing them this weekend, so excited for "Brought To the water" haha. I saw on Setlist.fm that they've been playing all of this album, holy fuck.

setlist for the show last night was super solid. I think the initial Sunbather tour was probably my favorite show from them but this was a very close second.

when i saw them, Tribulation's sound was a bit thin, but the mix for Deafheaven was spot on. Not sure if it was the club or the band's issue or what. That club usually has a good mix overall.

Tribulation was so cool live. Honestly, their stage moves reminded me a lot of eighties hair metal bands. The posturing was ridiculous and over the top and it was awesome.

Yeah definitely. He was one of the most enthusiastic live players I've ever seen. He was like freaking everywhere, and easily had the cheesiest but most awesome poses.

It was fucking awesome man, I've never seen someone bring so much energy to the stage. It was over the top and cheesy in all the best ways

they are definitely enjoyable but that guy is a little too cheesy theatrical at times. it's a good show if you haven't seen them before. I'll take ben weinman enthusiasm and energy live any day. That being said, Tribulation is still a very tight, professional, and enjoyable band live. You can tell they still are excited to do what they do.

even if what they do now is basically just heavy metal with raspy vox

Can't deny that Tribulation were having a good time, nice guitar harmonies as well.

I think "Come Back" is now my favorite song from this, it was so intense live (people went ham for sunbather/dreamhouse too).
