Yeah, If is kind of meh, (just not their style) though Mars does have some strong tracks. Jupiter just seems more memorable. Especially with strong tracks like Hump de Bump, She's Only 18, Slow Cheetah, Especially In Michigan, and Warlocks. Mars seems to blend in with itself in my book. This Message Edited On 08.20.06

Chili Peppers are Losin it.
And i Know WHY.
think about it...
Freaky - New Exciting and Damn Well Written.
Mofo - More rocky, but maintains flare and enrgy
Mother's Milk - an amalgamation of stlyes RHCP play SO well.
Blood Sugar - Mainstream, Funky & Perfect.
One Hot Min - Rock and roll, with funk and acoustic melodies BUT NOT OFFICIAL RHCP (Dave Navvaro)
During the Recordings of these albums, They were on as many Class A's as Possible, giving rise to the energetic, well driven, HAPPY music we all knw and Love.
Californication - Good, but lacks energy and Drive
By the Way - Good album, but so gentle it doesnt do em Justice.
And now Stadium - an extenison of BTW. too drawn out and depressing (For the most Part).
Its Beacause they are SOBER. Since the Release of Californication, RHCPs have settled in to writng nostalgic. "Look at the way we were" type stuff. its nice, but its a shame to see them lack of energy in throwaway tunes like "if", "hard to Concentrate" and other slow, BORING songs.
The answer? Stick em in a Studio with a Ton of Drugs. New innovative RHCP is back with a vengeance.

^Partly true. Its always kinda contraversial if drugs help write the music

Hmmm, I'll have to check out Bloodsugarsexmagik. I love the song Under The Bridge, though it's kind of been overplayed. (New avatar)

This album is really good. I recently went on a 3 day trip, and this was the only album I brought. I must have listened to every song atleast 5 times, and there was only 1 or 2 songs I would skip. Awesome album.

Both discs are good, but I personally think Jupiter is stronger, and Mars gets old quicker.

This a pretty fun album from what I've heard from it.

i think that there were a couple of good songs on the album, but they shouldn't have even made the second cd. i never listen to it.

to "the man", RHCP were actually free of class a drugs by bloodsugar, and coming off them for mothers milk (although john and flea smoked a LOT of pot for bloodsugar). Ever since the band knew they were reaching a huge audience after bloodsugar they couldnt experiment to the extent the had IMO, i still love a lot of theyre new stuff, its just different.

I love this CD

Irony, I actully like We Believe. Not that it's a great track, but it holds its own.

I'm finding it hard to believe that people don't like that song. I think it's seriously awesome, especially the line, "the risk is it worth it the disc is it perfect?" If is the only song I don't like much. That's why I gave it a 5.

Anthony doesn't like playing "Storm In A Teacup" live because it's like their older material.
This owns.
