i understand how a lot of people walked out. it was a bad decision on their behalves. there is a borderline unwatchable scene right near the beginning that really really tests your ability to continue on, and the point of the film isn't at all clear yet so it feels like a grotesque shock-value edge-fest...

but when you get past that scene you're pretty much committed and everything after that is not nearly as disgusting in comparison. but it really coincides with the vision of this album i think, this like scathing pop-culture saturated satire of how twisted and grotesque humanity and everything beyond us is. so i found it pretty interesting, and the soundtrack was tight as fuck.

if i had to describe it, it would be like the horrors of eraserhead combined with 80s and early 90s gore-tastic practical effect vomit fests like Peter Jacksons Dead Alive and the Evil Dead films etc and a heavy dose of very topical social satire

as seen through the lens of Adult Swim
