Yeah I'll keep asking this on page after page:

How is 'Sprachwitz' different from 'wit'. It's even shorter and as you know: Brevity is the soul of wit.

He went public with his observation so there's no keeping this private. Sorry dude.

But you can still edit something meaningful into your posts. Look at the travesty of this page. You should be ashamed!

Speaking of Stripped, that Heavy Mental remix of it fuckin slaps. Been listening to it since high school. I even tried to make a longer version of it haha.

Easy dude, I always answer sooner or later

I'm not a native English speaker, so I might get this wrong, but to me wit is more about being clever, intelligent and is also not limited to language. Sprachwitz is somewhat of an art to use/bend/work with language in a manner that's usually playful and funny at the same time. It's not always clever, sometimes outright dumb, sometimes not funny. Having a way with words is the best translation, but, as you can tell, still not a good description.

Not sure if I answered that :/

Yeah, thank you very much. It's an ok answer (: Although I'd like to think there was a greater difference between the two. They seem to be very similar concepts.

Yeah, that's the problem with words without an exact translation. There are words that come close, but it's hard to describe why they're not. Ask a Portugese speaker why saudade is not typical pain or Weltschmerz :D

I guess having an orchestral section means they will be sticking with their "new" sound

The line they quoted is from Mutter and might be an indication as to which musical direction is to be expected. This is a very orchestral influenced album after all.
