Played P.E on my speakers in my house, everyone turned their heads when they heard the guitars.

Mushy Mansore should stick to production, this is phenomenal while his own band continues to reek of troll fodder.

Periphery's s/t was sweet but after that Spencer's influence took over. Just compare "Parade of Ashes" or "Scarlet" to "All New Materials" or "Racecar". Just not the same as they used to be.

Anyways, Tosin's jazz influences come out big time on this album, and I love it.

I feel badly for anyone who's bored by this album. It's glorious.

Just wondering but how come you like Scarlet? It's major meh to me, I feel like the guitar work is so uninspired.

I just really can't stand Periphery and don't understand why they constantly keep being brought up in here instead of their own thread.

You'll notice my edit. And yes, I understand Misha did produce this though. Much better job on this than the self-titled.

Look, any listener who plays guitar cannot possibly be pleased with the guitar licks on this album. Bland, unmemorable scales and terrible tones. Dude phoned it in. 9 strings and absolutely no verve.

He's one of the most talented and creative guitarists in modern metal, you don't know what you're talking about

I did not say he was not talented, I said he phoned it in. Do you understand that means he was expected at work but he "phoned in" sick. How long have you played? Oh, you don't? I do. That is why I addressed this to guitar players. You do not know what you are talking about.
