6 was AWFUL idc that it was religious but the twist was so fucking obvious from episode 2 and it dragged for 9 episodes. The theme of the season was pretty much Dexter loves his son which we already knew and honestly if you skip 5 and 6 and just watch the last episode of season 6 you wouldn't miss anything
