Haha yeah definitely. Renacer really surprised me in a good way, respectively those five tracks that were released together with that Best Of record. I had not been listening to these guys that much since Life Is A Waiting Room came out which was kinda average, but The Fire was definitely solid. So yeah, really enjoying their heavier sound. I always thought they're pretty popular on Sput?

2 new songs are awesome, strange instrumentals going on in the background of Wound but it sounds good af. I'm really excited to hear SF expand on their new sound, didn't really like The Fire as much so it is very much welcome.

I tried the 2 new songs and wasn't much of a fan. The cleans at the beginning of Wounds were kind of bad, and I am a long time supporter of Buddy's "acquired taste" version of clean vocals.
Probably should give them another go, though. This album took a hell of a long time to grow on me.

from the ep? those were throw away songs lol. I don't think they're going to make anything like Pull the Thorns From Your Heart or Renacer ever again. I think it will take what they've learned from those two albums and they're going back to their Let It Enfold You, Still Searching, and Life Is Not A Waiting Room days. They say they are doing what people wanted from them ten years ago, so, what was it we wanted from them? lol. I thought Renacer gave us that.
