whats even more astounding to me is that no autechre album sounds the same but every single album
still sounds like autechre. theyve managed to cover different sonic territory in just about every
release and theyve been together for over 20 years.
i may be a fanboy but i dare anyone to find a group of artists who have pushed the boundaries of
music for as long as these guys have and remained consistently good throughout

that's definitely true. even the one album i haven't managed to really connect with (oversteps ~ its too melodic and reminds me of ground already covered by the likes of plaid, which is shockingly un-autechre ... although i have a feeling i'm missing something considering how much i love the move of ten EP) manages to get praised to the likes of many
