Last five songs and the way they bring the album to a close accounts for that extra .5
|
| |
first 6 tracks are the best but the second half also slays

I've been jamming Lost City a lot lately and I really miss all those more technical sections. This still rules though

i mean this is really good but it lacks diversity. there are pretty much two types of songs on here,
the really fast aggressive ones, and the really fast aggressive ones with some melody thrown in.

Brutal record

this has plenty of variation

when i saw them they didnt it was just straight brutality for like a half hour
and it ruled
|
| |
that's silly. just because they are loud doesn't mean they don't write distinct songs/parts. i would be interested to know of a similar-sounding band you think has more variation.

i never said this lacked diversity
I just said that live they pummeled relentlessly
this record has plenty of diversity

agreed. slayfest.

I wish they'd combine the technical bits of Last City, the melody of Dark Mountain and the aggression of Life/Less and IV into one super album. I also love the bits where the vocalist uses a lower throaty yell. God DAYUM
