Ye, some of the best *non-queefy* cleans in metalcore.

the only other more modern metalcore band that i know that has cleans as good as this is Cave In, but even that dude doesn't have this guys range

Dude check my dig btw, Troy Sanders, Greg Puciato, Max Cavalera and Mars Volta's drummer supergroup!

I love you just for mentioning Cave In. I tried to get Rowan to listen to Cave In, and he said he did t like his cleans. It hurt me deeply.

Out of curiousity, what is an example of "queefy" cleans, plebster?

Any of the popular modern metalcore bands Eccy, like you know those cringe-inducing 'melodic' choruses they all have?

It has become a bit of a cliche to have those big, soaring choruses in the more melodic side of metalcore nowadays, hasn't it?

Yes, hence the queef

Much queef, indeed. Also, chugs abound.

I haven't found much to like in the more recent wave of metalcore (not that I have been trying super hard to find anything either). Got a couple of friends a few years younger than me who dig a lot of the newer bands, and I haven't liked really any of the stuff they have showed me.

Honestly I think you will like this album. It's not really the mainstream type of stuff that KSE did when Howard joined the band.
