This album is probably responsible for getting me into extreme metal. I still like the first three, but I didn't even hate .5, it's just almost a decade late and the band no longer seems to have any clue. It's like Slipknot went George Lucas on themselves, bloody hell.

this album is genuinely dismal at times which with nu metal is hard to pull off without sounding fucking stupid

That final riff in Metabolic bachy, goes in hard.
Corey sounds fucking great on here too, his peak vocal wise.

Only track I can't stand is Everything Ends. The lyrics and chorus on that are so bad

Why did Corey ever have to start, you know, singing?

I liked it better when he sounded like he had TB
|

Probably because he realised he's actually quite good at, you know, singing.

May be good technically but sounds like he should be in a boy band
|
| |
Not really.
I only ever really liked Vol. 3 as far as this band goes and he had some pretty good vocal moments on that album.
