And like it's still super early, like a week or two before I don't really care but 5 weeks? Plus there's some satisfaction in hearing something when everyone else does but now you're gonna have to wait to discuss it here without sounding like a dick.

First listen, it's incredibly ambitious and very impressive but feels a little bit distant compared to how warm this album is. I can tell it's definitely going to take a lot of listens to sink in tho

I listen to music for myself too but there is a satisfaction in taking part in the initial experience with other people, especially for big releases like this. Also, don't leaks tend to have poor sound quality? Whatever though, you do you.
I do kind of wish big artists would stop announcing albums so early because all it does is guarantee that they leak way in advance. Like the new National album is almost definitely going to leak at least a month in advance and I want to hear that thing even more than this but I'm going to wait for that one's official release too.

As far as leaks go, it's nothing like it used to be, most stuff doesn't leak til like the week of or day before. I only listen to leaks of albums that I already have preordered anyways
Also this leak is 320, sounds amazing
