I just like reveling in the fact that some of my opinions are different. Makes me feel like an individual and not a member of a circle jerk.

Horizons was the last good parkway album. Deep blue was fucking horrendous and atlas was even worse lmao

Reverence is their worst, but that doesn't stop the three before it from being completely and utterly shite

For me, this sounded the most fresh by far because they have their own style of metalcore more or less and their first go with it just felt like it had the tightest songwriting easily (only other refreshing album in their discog is Ire). But after Horizons, which injected a good amount emotion and passion, it just got more and more dull until they finally revamped their sound with Ire

1) Atlas and Deep Blue had horrible production. Especially the guitars
2) The songwriting was as immerorable as it gets (only decent song is probably Leviathan I). They basically used the standard formula in the majority of the songs: fast-paced chugga-chugga followed by a one- or three-note breakdown, rinse and repeat
3) The riffs were boring as fuck and have been used by other genericore bands a bazillion times before
Also just because a band is fun live does not make their music good.
