Will do, as much as I love the TSwizzle factor his points were really vivid and true. I loved his hatred for Glee ha. Going to definitely dig further on this site and this dude, as you said. Smart, witty and like able.

oh damn he's gonna butcher Trouble
maybe he'll get on Taylor's case for pairing that chorus with such a shitty verse
but yeah I'm actually interested in hearing what he has to say

Yeah, the clip he put of her performance was pretty lol, actually made me cringe.

yeah he probably will though
unless you mean there are other reviewers?
anyways my issue with the guy mainly is that he seems to imply you need to have something worthwhile
lyrically for a song to be a good pop song. I think anyone who likes T Swift agrees lyrics are the
weakest part of her music (and are incidentally why he likes this song so much). it's definitely not
the lyrics that make me like Trouble so much anyways. It's just the catchy-as-fuck chorus and
apparently that means zero to him

yeah that performance was awful lol

But as he states, look at the comparisons of te current pop world. I mean, it's just god awful garbage. While Swift is more genuine, compared to the words of people like Kesha, Perry.
- You already know this.
But, putting out a bit more realistic message compared to a message of wank

No I don't disagree with that
and I see his logic behind liking the juvenile lyrics of We are...
but like the bulk of his criticism/review is simply lyrical analysis, which while really fucking spot on (never caught that the guy is supposed to be a douche in "somebody that I used to know" but now it seems apparent), doesn't encapsulate everything about music, especially pop. I mean, replace Kesha's lyrics with Frost's poems and keep the music the same and her songs won't magically not be shitty, even if they're poetic or whatever. (Or if that's too pretentious, just replace Frost's poems with anything that you would appreciate in a pop song)
if his theoretical review on Trouble mentioned that in addition to shitty lyrics (e.g. she says "blame me" but still makes him look bad or whatever), it seems like she took a generic verse with a catchy chorus and mixed them together with no regards to flow or something, then ok fair enough criticism. But he probably won't.
Also I think it's hilarious that andcas only mentions that Trouble is garbage after this guy implies that he doesn't like it, c'mon now
