Ezzomania: Picking between "The Moon & Antarctica" and "The Lonesome Crowded West" would be your best bet. However, if you tend to like catchy/more mainstream songs "Good News For People Who Love Bad News" and "We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank" may be a better start. "This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About" is solid, but an album that you may want to take in only after you've decided you like Modest Mouse.
