I dont like the whole album, and some songs are too poppy, but song like Robot Boy,Burning in the Skies and Iridiscent are surely included in their very best songs.

im really confused after this album

i didnt want to hear it cause i didnt want to know what had happened to linkin park
i went to their concert and although i didnt like their new stuff AT ALL i though ok THESE GUYS WERE AMAZING CHESTER CAN STILL SCREAM, there is hope
then my mate bought me the album and i thought might aswell. i actually liked the speeches it gave it a nice touch a subject to the album the songs however were a let down
as an album a unique experiance sort of like a ride
but songs individually are crap
the moment i heard they had a new song i looked it up
and upon listening to the catalyst i was thinking this is a good build up
then further and further in it was
THIS IS BULLSHIT THEYVE SOLD OUT
however i do like the second song i heard indescent
i will judge LP on there next album whether i will continue to support them
but at the moment its hard to be a linkin park fan
which is hard cause i liked them ever since i was 5 years old and hybrid came out

hopefully theyre ONE STEP CLOSER (haha play on words) to their old sound

Hybrid Theory sold over 10 million copies. "Selling out" would be mindlessly repeating that same formula that made them rich. They are at least trying something new here. It's a bit hit and miss, but I respect it a lot more than trying to do the same thing they've done before.

I seriously think that The Requiem (opener) is the best song on the whole album.

It's hard making a sound all your own, they demonstrated that direction w/ MINUTES TO MIDNIGHT, which was fantastic. Here, a lot of the tracks are interesting, but the payoff is weak at the end and we're left wondering why we took such a risk. Still it's beats are clever and the challenge is accepted, let's wait for what they have in store in the next 3 years.
