Ah, okay then fair enough. Blood Sugar and Mother's Milk still receive big airplay from me, and while I don't listen to Californication much anymore, it's just as excellent in my opinion.

this couldve done without a couple tracks (get on top, i like dirt, emit remmus) but purple stain is straight up classic
and so is most of the album for that matter

This is great but doesn't hold a candle against Mother's Milk and Blood Sugar for me. Haven't spun this in a while tbh, don't know if i'd rate it 3.5 or 4 atm.

Having glanced at that tracklist and heard bits and pieces from every tune, this should stand as a 3.5 for me for a while before i give this a full spin again. This and By The Way are probably tied for me.

Well the 'early days' rhcp is very much a different band, imagine a wacky alternative funk-meets-punk outfit. Mother's Milk is my favorite of theirs, in case you're interested in giving em a chance.

Around the world and otherside are classics

Around The World funks for days, but i've grown sick of Otherside, never really dug it in the first place tbh. Scar Tissue, on the other hand, is a lot more enjoyable for me.
